Readers,
So for those of you who have followed me or just stopped by to check out what I had to offer might have noticed that this last year, my postings slowed down near the end of the year. I had a lot happening this year, and I still do. So it may look like I am re-inventing my blog, but the changes that were made are because I am longer running my blog solo, and may eventually give it completely to the new blogger that will be writing and posting with me. It may take some time before anything else really changes, but expect by April or May to see the blog because active with at least 2-3 posts per week while we both adjust to this.
To give you an idea of what each of us will be reviewing. I will mostly be doing MG and YA, while she will cover YA, NA, and Adult novels.
The change in my blog name is so that it loses the identity that I solely ran, and now is "ours". This also allows for Nicole to possibly take over solely in the future if my life continues with what is currently happening.
Thanks,
Chelsea and now Nicole.

Fortune Teller Readathon TBR
This year, I am participating in the Fortune Teller Readathon, which is going on during the entire month of February (sorry for posting late about it - I've just been really sick). You can find the original post here. But to quickly summarize, the idea is to pick one of the three pathways (or all three if you really want to push yourselves) to narrow down your TBR pile, then pick books to fit those prompts and you are ready to read. I would check out the original post because there is some extra information mentioned that you might be interested in.
Now onto my TBR. I picked the second pathway, I currently have no plans to read either of the other two pathways because of another readathon I am participating in this month.
New Friend ~ Now Entering Addamsville by Francesca Zappia
Written in the Stars ~ Fountains of Silence by Ruta Sepetys
Hopeless Romantic ~ Ashes in the Snow by Ruta Sepetys
Dark One ~ Lair of Dreams by Libba Bray
Outcast ~ Beautiful Broken Girls by Kim Savage
Have you all read any of these books, and what are your thoughts and feelings on them? I hope that my predictions for these books turn out correct!

2020 Reading Resolutions
Looking forward to another year of completing (or more accurately not completing) what I have planned in my year of reading. Every year I make a list of just some reading goals that I want to accomplish in that year, and I would venture to guess that many other readers out there do the same. Sometimes they are the same goals year to year, and other times they are different goals. This year I'm mixing it up a little. Also if you are interested, check out my reading resolutions for last year here.
1. Meet My Goodreads Reading Challenge Goal
I try to do this every year, but every year the amount of books that I try to read changes depending on how much time I think I will have to read books. This year my goal is to read is 50, the same as last year.
2. Listen to 10 Audiobooks
2. Listen to 10 Audiobooks
3. Read 10 Contemporary Novels
Contemporary books are my least favorite genre, so every year I just aim to read 10, sometimes I read more and other times I don't meet the 10 books.
4. Read a book in all of the following genres:
Dystopian/Apocalyptic
Historical Fiction
Fantasy
Fairytale Retelling
Mystery
Thriller/Suspense
Horror
Graphic Novel/Manga
Poetry/Verse
Anthology
Sci-Fi
Middle Grade
Steampunk
5. Read 10 books that are longer than 500 pages
6. Finish the Series of Unfortunate Events

7. Read all of Amie Kaufman's, Megan Spooner's, and Jay Kristoff's books
Amie Kaufman is one of my favorite authors (every book I have picked up of hers I have loved), but the books I have read of hers have been written in conjunction with either Megan Spooner or Jay Kristoff, so I figured I would read all of their books this year for the fun of it. The books that I need to read of their books are the following:

8. Read all of Kasie West's books
Another author whose books I love that I need to catch up on her newest releases, and they are as follows:

Steampunk

End of Year 2019 Reading Resolutions Wrap-Up
At the beginning of the year, I shared with you all some reading goals that I wanted to tackle this year. Some were the same as previous years, and others were added on for this year. I completed 2 out of 6 challenges.
1. Meet My Goodreads Reading Challenge Goal
The goal this year was to read 50 books, which was less than my last year's goal. This is because I have been finding myself reading more adult books this year, and wanted to accommodate for that and not feel pressured to picking up more YA books. I read a total of 56 books.
2. Listen to 10 Audiobooks
