Sherlock-a-thon Readathon TBR

We just happened to stumble upon the Sherlock-a-Thon, which is hosted by dom p is here, Opalescent, and Olivia's Catastrophe. There are six prompts to complete by the 27th, and even though we are getting a late start in the readathon, we think we will be able to complete it in time. We will be reading the same books together for each of the prompts. Our TBR is below.

Review:

If Off the Trail is a taste of Diana Urban's writing, I'm already completely sold in any future books she writes. With just a short quick couple of pages, I was hooked. Off the Trail is about a teenage girl who goes jogging in the woods near a lake where a girl recently drowned - maybe by accident or maybe by more nefarious reasons.

What really got me in the short few pages was the underlying theme of the story. Although mentioned at various points, it didn't hit until the very end how important of a role that theme played in the overall story. And I relate so much to Kayla in those moments - because that is hands down me to a T.

I did not see it coming, and that made it all the more amazing of a read for me. If you love YA thrillers, this might be a nice short story to pick up. It won't disappoint!

Look for Diana Urban's full length debut releasing March 17th: All Your Twisted Secrets

This thrilling debut, reminiscent of new fan favorites like One of Us Is Lying and the beloved classics by Agatha Christie, will leave readers guessing until the explosive ending.
